About the website

Upside Down

We go shopping together, we regularly brush our teeth and go to the toystore just to look around. And we made order in all the chaos around us, found premises for our contentment, common sense and kept our sense of humour.

Our experiences with bringing up our own children are presented in the following chapters:

  • Fuilletons (short essays) – easily digestible reading about the things which bother every parent. But also a few tips, how to increase the self-respect of the children, support their independence or gain their cooperation. How to “compliment” them or help them describe their own feelings, etc.

  • Games – Games for kids ages 0 to 5. You are mostly interested in how to create the feeling of safety for your children, develop a relationship with a close person, support their ability to concentrate, play and communicate. You will even find games made to help strategical thinking, fine tune motor skills, etc.

  • Library – books, websites and other sources of information, which inspired us.

  • Upside Down – realities, which motivated us strongly. Get an idea about the systematic nature of dealing with children and about the consequences of the individual activities and games on the child’s brain.

Have the courage to respect children and find mutual respect.

And so…

Upside Down, Jack Johnson

Whos’s to say what’s impossible?

Well they forgot this word keeps spinning

And with each new day

I can feel a change in everything

And as the surface breaks reflections fade

But in some ways they remain the same

And as my mind begins to spread its wings

There’s no stopping curiosity

I want to turn the whole thing upside down

I’ll find the things they say just can’t be found

I’ll chare this love I find with everyone

We’ll sing and dance to mother nature’s songs

I don’t want this feeling to go away

Who’s to say I can’t do everything?

Well I can try, and as I roll along I begin to find

Things aren’t always just what they seem

I want to turn the whole thing upside down

I’ll find the things they say just can’t be found

I’ll chare this love I find with everyone

We’ll sing and dance to mother nature’s songs

This world keeps spinning

And there’s no time to waste

Well it all keeps spinning spinning

Round and round and upside down

Who’s to say what’s impossible and can’t be found?

I don’t want this feeling to go away

Please don’t go away

Please don’t go away

Please don’t go away

Is this how it’s supposed to be?

Is this how it’s supposed to be?
